Starting out with just a single aircraft and route in 1984, Virgin Atlantic now provides an award winning scheduled service to 28 destinations around the world and has become the second largest long haul international airline operating from
Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.
Virgin Atlantic's ever-expanding network includes destinations in North America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and Australia, with flights from London Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester. In March Virgin Atlantic launched services to Dubai and services to Montego Bay, Jamaica will commence in July 2006.
As an innovative company, Virgin Atlantic aim to fly one of the youngest fleets of aircraft in the world and currently operate the Boeing 747-400, Airbus A340-300 and the longest aircraft in the world, the A340-600. In 2008 VA will be introducing
the A380, which is set to change the way people fly and the face of travel.
Virgin Atlantic’s cabins offer something to please everyone. VA's Economy cabin offers great in-flight entertainment and extra touches such as free drinks throughout the flight and ice cream during the movies. For those who prefer a bit more space to relax or work in, Virgin Atlantic's separate Premium Economy cabin offers a dedicated service to make their journey even more comfortable.

Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class service offers all the special touches, such as chauffeur driven car transfers, access to Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses and, now being rolled out across the fleet, Virgin's Upper Class Suite, boasting the biggest fully flat bed
in business class.
